Music Therapist
We are expanding at Unlimited Pediatric Therapy and are currently seeking an experienced Music Therapist to join our team! Previous experience with infants and toddlers, therapeutic music programs and knowledge of special education is a plus.
 
Locations: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Alachua counties
 
We are seeking a strong communicator and organized therapist to:
  • Document therapy sessions, provide evaluations and care plans for young patients.
  • Establish therapy programs to meet individual goals and assist with physical, communicative, social and emotional development.
  • Conduct guided musical therapy sessions in-home and on an individual / one-on-one basis.
  • Maintain communication with parents and caregivers about personalized treatment plans and sessions.
 
The ideal candidate would have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy, CBMT certification is required
  • 1 years of experience in Music Therapy, or working with children under the age of 5
  • Proficient with multiple musical instruments (guitar, piano/keyboard, recorder, etc)
  • Knowledge of childhood development and special education principals
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with other therapists (OT, PT, ST)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the county –
  • Bilingual is a plus!
 
Contract position rate of Pay $40-45/45 minute sessions

We’re looking for a Speech Therapist who loves working with babies and toddlers and wants to join a fun, flexible, and collaborative team. Forget spending your days working on R sounds and articulation drills! If you’re ready to work with young children in an early intervention setting—helping them meet their communication milestones in the most playful and exciting ways—this is your ideal position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Early Intervention: Help babies and toddlers develop essential communication skills through fun, interactive, and evidence-based speech therapy techniques.
  • Home Health: Provide therapy in the comfort of the child’s home, creating a safe and engaging environment for them to learn and grow.
  • Flexible Schedule: Work as many or as few hours as you’d like (we just ask for a minimum of 15 hours per week), and set your own schedule. You’re the boss of your time!
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, co-treatments, and collaborative discussions with a team of professionals to ensure each child receives the best possible care.
  • Progress Tracking: Work closely with families to track progress and adjust therapy as needed, always focusing on improving the child’s speech and language skills in a holistic and playful way.
  • Fun & Silliness: You’ll get to do a lot of goofy, fun stuff—because when you’re working with toddlers, every day is a new adventure!

What We’re Looking For

  • Fun & Playful: Engage with the kiddos in fun activities and therapy sessions (you’ll be amazed at how cute these babies are). This is therapy, but it’s play-based, which makes it both effective and enjoyable for everyone involved.
  • Team Collaboration: Be part of a team approach, participating in interdisciplinary meetings and co-treatments with other therapists to provide the best care possible for our clients.
  • Progress Tracking: Work with families to track the child’s progress and make adjustments as needed to help them develop their skills in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Occupational Therapist: You’re a licensed OT who loves working with young kids, and you’re excited about the opportunity to work exclusively with babies and toddlers.
  • Experience: We prefer someone with a year of treatment experience, but will mentor and train the right candidate
  • Flexibility: You’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule, manage your hours, and decide how far you want to travel for home health visits.
  • Team Player: We work together as a team! You’ll collaborate with other therapists to provide the best outcomes for our kiddos, so if you love teamwork, this is the place for you.
  • Self-Motivation: You’ll be working independently, so you need to be self-driven, organized, and able to manage your time effectively.
